"A neglected mansion turned to Iloilo's restored gem" as what the Ilonggo's would call it, has become Iloilo's trending spot and pride today. The mansion was neglected for several years and was close to demolition. It was just recent that the property was bought by SM Lands Inc. and refurbished it into a beautiful tourist attraction and soon, a sort of a shopping development.

The Molo Mansion or orginally The Yusay-Consing Mansion was built in the 1920s. It was owned by Dona Petra Lacson who married Estanislao Yusay, Manila's judge of the Court of First Instance. There family was said to be very rich and was the one who have power over Molo. It was later handed down to the family of Timoteo Consing Sr., who served as Iloilo governor from 1935-1937. The mansion was also said to have accomodated two Philippine Presidents, Manuel L. Quezon and Sergio Osmena, during their visit in Iloilo.

Today, tons of people flock there to witness the grand makeover of the mansion. From the view outside, the elegance of the mansion prevails. The landscape outside sets the epitome of a peaceful and high-end hacienda. As you get it in, the antique architecture and set-up will bring you to a total throwback and lets you reminisce of life's simplicity before. Moreover, to modify and to add some spice to the venue, they placed there some of Cultura's for sale goods, plus, they have a mini coffee shop too, for the visitors to relax and unwind.

Visiting the Molo Mansion is a must while in Iloilo. You would get to experience a wholesome antique and at the same time modern atmosphere. For the bloggers out there, this is a perfect place to take instagram-worthy or blog-worhty photos. It is the best place to shoot and hold vintage-themed events as well. Every bit of the property is just on point and I know you would never like to turn down this one of a kind oppurtunity to be in the mansion.

This popular mansion is located in Molo, Iloilo City, facing the town plaza and the St. Anne Parish Church. There is no entrance fee in entering there at this time of writing. The place is just near the city proper so jeepneys are available to bring you there if you are on a budget. It is best to be there with your squad so that you could really enjoy and there will be someone who'll take your blogger-like pictures. Hahaha. Plus, never forget to bring your cameras to capture your best memories of the historical mansion with the people closest to your heart. Enjoy!
